About The Cat Behavior Clinic Cat

Vet-Referred Feline Behavior Consultants

The Cat Behavior Clinic was founded by Mieshelle Nagelschneider, a nationally known veterinarian-referred cat behaviorist who has consulted with cat owners across the United States to solve their cats' behavior problems since 1999.  She is an Associate with The International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, member of the Animal Behavior Society and currently enhancing her knowledge of animal behavior through study at Harvard University.

Mieshelle recently signed contracts with producers to be the feline behaviorist in her own cat behavior show series for T.V.  Producers are currently presenting the show to a major network.

Prior to founding The Cat Behavior Clinic, Mieshelle founded and ran the cat care company Lake Oswego Cat Care, a veterinarian-referred service for cats with medical needs and high-level care, and a feline behavior consulting firm, Purrtopia.

Mieshelle has worked professionally with domestic, wild, and feral cats for the last 18 years.  She is a popular resource for wild cat sanctuaries across the United States and veterinary referred for feline behavior as far as London and Australia.

Mieshelle's expertise has been sought out by and featured in Cat Fancy Magazine, This Wild Life, The Divine Cat, Real Simple Magazine, Salon.com, and The Daily Cat. She also has her own cat behavior column in Pets Magazine.

Through word-of-mouth and satisfied clients as well as our work with cat sanctuaries, veterinary practices, and shelters, The Cat Behavior Clinic has become renowned in the field.  That's why we are seeking to add to our team of cat behaviorists.  If you are a certified cat behaviorist or veterinarian, see Join Our Team.

We are a cat behavior consultancy practice for North America and Canada.  If you're like the rest of our satisfied clients, you've realized the superficial tips and tricks on the internet, from friends, and from books aren't working.  Even most vets give incomplete and obsolete advice; after all, they're medical doctors, not psychologists.

And no surprise - cat behavior is highly complex, and solving it requires both expertise and  specific, specialized information about your cat.  That means a conversation with an expert.  The information and help you receive from our cat behaviorist, is up to date in the latest trends of animal psychology and unlike what you've read on the internet or received from your vet.
